The Porsche Carrera Cup Middle East (PCCME) ignited Yas Marina Circuit last weekend for Round 4 of the 2025/26 season, with a vibrant Abu Dhabi crowd turning the iconic venue into a cauldron of colour, sound, and motorsport spectacle.
With championship momentum building and the grandstands buzzing under the floodlights, the weekend produced edge-of-the-seat action across the Pro, Pro-AM, and Masters categories, setting the tone for a thrilling run-in to the final rounds of the season.
Rising star Robert de Haan delivered a breakthrough performance, securing his first-ever pole position before converting it into a commanding victory in Race 1. The Dutchman carried that momentum into Sunday, completing a sensational back-to-back win in Race 2 and stamping his name firmly into the championship narrative.
Japanese rookie Taichi Watarai continued to showcase remarkable consistency, maintaining his lead at the top of the overall standings, coming in second in both races, as the title battle intensifies heading into the business end of the season.
In the Masters category, Petr Brecka proved dominant in Race 1, leading home Krister Andero and Mark J. Thomas in a fiercely contested class battle. Race 2 saw the tables turn, with Andero claiming the win ahead of Thomas, while Brecka completed the podium in third.
Attention now shifts to Round 5, set to take place at the Bahrain International Circuit from 10 to 12 April, where the championship will run in support of the Formula 1 weekend.
