Porsche has remained committed to the Coupé, Cabriolet and Targa bodystyles for more than 60 years, and this continues  in the current-generation 992.

Innovation

The 992 features a range of innovations such as the new Wet Mode, which detects water on the road, primes the assistance systems, and warns the driver. The Night Vision Assist with a thermal imaging camera detects obstacles in the dark, and the intelligent LED headlights improve visibility. For the first time, wheels with different diameters are deployed on the front and rear axles. And for the first time since the Dakar-winning competition car of 1984, Porsche has built a 911 as a new Dakar off-road version.
