Porsche launches Advanced Package for the Macan

For the start of the new model year, Porsche is expanding the standard equipment of the Macan. The sports car manufacturer has combined particularly popular options for its all-electric SUV into a new package.

Porsche has bundled a curated selection of the most popular optional extras for the electric Macan into a new Advanced Package. Available for the Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S models, it includes the panoramic roof system, Matrix LED headlights, automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors and an exterior paint colour from the ‘Shades’ or ‘Contrasts’ colour palettes. For the interior, the Advanced Package adds 14-way electrically adjustable Comfort seating, the Leather package in black and the Bose®  Surround Sound System. In terms of the powertrain and chassis, it includes Power Steering Plus and adaptive air suspension with levelling system and height adjustment including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).

In Germany, the Advanced Package costs 5,990.46 euros for the Macan and Macan 4 and 5,299.07 euros for the Macan 4S (both including VAT). Depending on the model, this results in a saving of up to 45 per cent compared to ordering all the package options individually.

More driver assistance systems and more charging power as standard

Porsche is also expanding the standard specification of the Macan, with comfort and driver assistance functions included as standard equipment on the all-electric SUV from the start of the new model year. In addition to adaptive cruise control, this also includes Automated Parking with 2D Surround View, which automatically detects parking spaces between and in front of objects. With this system, the turn signal is activated automatically and the vehicle takes over the parking manoeuvre for both parallel and perpendicular spaces as well as manoeuvring out of parallel spaces.

Other parking functions, including Remote Park Assist – which allows parking manoeuvres to be controlled via smartphone, among other things – are available as options. The smartphone, in turn, can now be charged much faster in the Macan than before, with the dedicated storage compartment in the centre console, which includes wireless charging,  now offering up to 25 watts of charging power (previously 15 watts).

For the Macan GTS and Macan Turbo, Porsche is also increasing the standard AC charging power. Thanks to the 22 kW on-board charger now being fitted as standard, charging at public charging points or a compatible wallbox can be much faster. The Macan, Macan 4 and Macan 4S charge at a maximum of 11 kW, but can also be optionally equipped with the 22 kW charger. At suitable DC fast-charging points, all Macan models charge with up to 270 kW as standard.
